Natus Vincere move on to the winners' match of group A after beating CyberZen 2-0 (de_mirage 16-5, de_train 16-7).
Action at SL i-League StarSeries XIV Finals kicked off with CyberZen's debut outside of Asia against the giants from Natus Vincere.
The veto process chucked out de_mirage, CyberZen's pick, while Na`Vi decided to go with de_train, leaving de_overpass as a potential third map.
With Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev and company picking up the pistol and two following anti-ecos as Terrorists, and CyberZen replying back with three in a row, map one looked to be quite competitive.
CyberZen's debut in Europe went pretty much as expected
Soon afterwards that proved to be wrong. The Ukraine-based team started destroying their opposition for 9-3 before taking the half 11-4, and soon the match at 16-5 when the Chinese were unable to turn an afterplant situation into a pistol round win.
On de_train, on the other hand, CyberZen managed to start with a 3-0 lead after their Terrorist-side pistol round victory, although once again Na`Vi didn't wait to reply. Soon the score was sitting at 10-5 in their favor, and Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's squad also closed it out after only dropping two rounds on their Terrorist side, at 16-7.
